Whenever we face tough obstacles, major disappointments, struggles of any size, relationship difficulties, we tend to withdrawal. We tend to move away instead of moving forward and facing the difficult times and circumstances with the Lord. He is on our side. We see this in the first chapter of 2 Timothy. Paul is encouraging Timothy to be strong. To not forget his roots, foundation and lean into the things of life that are attempting to throw him off.
