Quiet Life

We examine the truth of 1 Thessalonians 4:8-12 and see how as a Christ follower, you and I should live lives that are holy and pleasing to God. We also see how we should live a life that is quiet and centered on Jesus. Follow along as we continue seeing how we need to follow Jesus and His example.

Worldly Trouble and God’s Encouragement

Looking at 1 Thessalonians 3, we see that the struggles on life, hardships in the world and troubles around us can be used by God to shape us into the men and women that He wants us to be. In our study we are seeing that God has a master plan that includes the healthiness of our spiritual Vital Signs to reflect His working in our lives.

I see me in you!

We begin to look at and see the value, validity and need for the Word of God. Paul shows us the impact it had in the life of the churches in Thessalonica as well as his own life. We will examine 1 Thess 2:13-20 and we will see that, “I see me in you!” The fact that we need to see Jesus in each other and to imitate Jesus changes us and others!

Just the way I am!

We look at the way that Paul lived his life before the Thessalonians and we see that he was sincere, genuine and loving. These are all true components of how we should live and build relationships. God honoring and building up of the body. 1 Thessalonians 2:1-10

Dare to be a disciple

In our series through the first letter to the church in Thessalonica, Paul addresses their testimony of their walk and faithfulness to God. We see that they were imitators of Paul, Silas and Timothy in their walk and relationship with God. 1 Thessalonians 1:4-10 shows us some solid information about how we ought to live and be a disciple of Jesus.

A Healthy Checkup

We begin looking at the importance of a healthy checkup spiritually and we see in 1 Thessalonians 1:1-3 the three key elements of a healthy checkup. Following Christ is not easy but maintaining a healthy spiritual life is crucial to our walk with Jesus.

The art of restoration to rejuvenation

We look at chapter 6 of Galatians and see the key need and purpose of restoration in the christian family. The Lord desires it, the Lord does it and we to need to be doing it! This will conclude the series on Galatians and trust that the Word of the Lord has spoken to you personally through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Living in the Spirit is freedom

When we live in and by the world/flesh, we gratify only the flesh. When we live by and through the Spirit, we are fully free and also are in complete connection with the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit that resides in us. We then are able to produce and demonstrate the fruit of the Spirit in all aspects of our life. Join with us as we explore Galatians 5:16-26. Full…

Fully Free

We see in our journey through Galatians that it is important to be free in Jesus Christ. To see that in the law we are held captive to ourselves and must be free to live fully in Jesus. Let’s look at this in Galatians 5:1-15
