When Jesus came to earth, Emmanuel, God with us, He came in the most humble state. He came giving up all that He had in heaven, equality with God. He gave that up for you and I that we might have the opportunity to receive What a special gift He was and is. Not wrapped up in pomp and circumstance nor in all the glamor of Bethlehem, He came in the humble form of a baby. Then took on the attitude of a servant and humbling Himself, died in our place. What a special gift!
